Travel Insurance and Airfare
Travel insurance and airfare are purchased separately from the land package. Payment may be made directly to the providers you select subject to those companies' respective terms and conditions. Linda and Sumire's Deluxe Taste of Japan recommends Singapore Airlines for roundtrip travel from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) and travel insurance options from MH Ross Travel Insurance Services for separate purchase through our partner, Yamato Travel. We do not require that you select these providers, however the following is offered for your convenience; you may choose to purchase travel insurance or select air travel from any carrier.

As with all travel insurance plans, always carefully read the description of coverage to learn the boundaries of your coverage before purchasing any plan. Remember, the sooner you purchase your travel insurance, the better! Generally, the best coverage is available when purchased within 15 days of initial payment.

MH Ross Travel Insurance Services is an independent company that provides travel insurance through travel agencies. Each plan offers extended benefits if purchased within 15 days of initial trip payment and some offer options to purchase more insurance.

Singapore Airlines
Airfare is offered independent of the land tour. You may purchase your airfare independently or we would be happy to assist you. If booking independently or with Linda & Sumire's Deluxe Taste of Japan, airline pricing is determined by the carrier's current rate at the time of booking, and will require payment in full. Availability of any flight is not guaranteed until booked and paid in full, subject to all terms and conditions of the specific airline.
Pricing is subject to change based on current taxes and fuel surcharges at the time of booking. The tour is flying on Singapore Airlines, departing from Los Angeles (LAX) to Tokyo (NRT), Flight SQ11 on March 29, 2016 at 3:45 p.m. We will cross the international dateline to arrive in Tokyo the next day at 7:15 p.m (travel time 11 hours 30 minutes). We are returning from Tokyo (NRT) to Los Angeles (LAX), Flight SQ12 on April 8, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. We will arrive the same day in Los Angeles at 1:25 p.m. (travel time 10 hours 10 minutes). If you would like to book your flight independently, you may do so if seats are available. If you are traveling from another city or would prefer to travel on a different airline, you are free to do so, but please advise us as soon as possible once you have booked your air. We will coordinate transportation to the hotel upon your arrival and departure to and from Tokyo.
